We finally updated the people page to represent all the fantastic people helping with research in the lab this fall. Many thanks to Johan and Liz for all their amazing work!
Thanks to everyone’s massive effort in the lab over the past three years, the first round of the Common Garden project has finally been planted! The plants seem to be doing well so far and they will hopefully continue to thrive with our fierce greenhouse manager, Kea Woodruff, on board.
It’s fall term! And a big welcome to Cat Chamberlain and Dan Buonaiuto, who joined the lab as PhD students. Check out more about both of them here.
It’s almost fall term! And the lab is busy with planting the common garden, measuring Brix in California, and waiting for grapes to burst bud in the greenhouse.
Last week, the lab threw a BBQ for our very dedicated Tree Spotters. Our volunteers have been diligently recording their observations for the past year, check out some of the data collected and photos taken here!
Lizzie finally had time to update the website. Check out updates on the data, people, pubs and resources pages!
We’re looking for a collaborative, creative researcher to join the lab for a one-year postdoc! More details here, and please send in applications soon as we’ll review all applications as we receive them.
Alice, Cat and Dan head to Quebec for more forest composition sampling and Lizzie is finally back from Europe, and glad for it!
Thanks to everyone who made it out to our Botany Blast Tree Mob last Monday! Jehane and I had a fantastic time talking about phenology, botany and frost damage with everyone.
Our next Stan meetup is scheduled for 11 May at 6pm, with an overview of RStan and ShinyStan!
